Meet Fu ChuanFeng! (click on picture to enlarge it)
Her orphanage-given name means Blessed Abundant River. We will name her Brinley Grace FuChuan (abundant blessing). She was born (estimated) on Nov 1, 2003, and found at 10 days old at the gate of the Fuzhou City Medicine Company. She was taken to the Fuzhou City Orphanage in Jiangxi Province, China. We are told that she is presently in foster care. Her last report was when she was 2 1/2 yrs old, and at that time she was 24 pounds and 86 cm tall. The report also said that she is extroverted, active, speaks sentences in Mandarin, expresses her thoughts & needs, potty trained, likes to mimic and dance, knows her body parts and asks people to take her outside. She is now 3 1/2, so that last report is a year old. The agency says we may get another update before we travel. Bayla's measurements at 2 1/2 were virtually the same in height, head size, chest size & foot size, except Bayla was 3 pounds heavier. Who does her personality sound like? .....Bayla!! I have a feeling these 2 girls will be close sisters & friends growing up. They will enter school together and share the same room.

Brinley is a little cutie! How excited Bayla will be to have a forever friend to share her life experiences with, since they will be so close in age. I know they will both love rooming together. I wonder if Bayla will remember anything in Chinese when she hears Brinley talking. I'm so excited to meet her - it's not too far away now. I can't imagine having a family of 6 children, but you and Mike are doing a great job! I couldn't handle any more than our 2 ! Love, Aunt Traci & Family

Hello,
I am a Fu mom (my daughter is Cassidy XiaoSu, adopted May 16, 2006) from NC and saw your post on the yahoo group, so I went to check out your blog. We live on the coast, near New Bern, but have family outside of Charlotte and visit often. Are you located near either of those areas? There doesn't seem to be many Fu moms in our area and I would love for Cassidy to know some other babies from her town in China! Our website is: www.journeytocassidy.myevent.com and has a lot of info about our travels to Jiangxi. Please check it out and get in touch with us if you're interested. We LOVED Nanchang so much and had the most wonderful trip! We cannot wait to go back some day. The best of luck to you and here's to a speedy TA!
Dear Lisa,
What a sweet blog and great way--even for us family members--to keep up with all the Jordan happenings! We love reading news about the kids, and about you & Mike, too.
Dad and I never dreamed we'd have a dozen grandchildren, or that some of them would arrive here via China and Guatemala! All of them have greatly blessed and enriched our lives.
We treasure the times together that we all share, and look forward to having little Fu ChuanFeng included. Can't wait to see her smile & give her a hug!
Love to all of you!
mom & dad Mack
