Ben and I are doing well in Beijing. The weather is beautiful. Yesterday we went to the Great Wall and had a great time. My calves are sore today, but Ben is fine of course. Then in the evening, we went to the acrobatic show & it was very good. We got back to the hotel and then went walking around outside. There's a great walking street here - Wangfujing Walking Street. It was totally fun, people everywhere and everyone so happy. Just 2 min down the street from our hotel is a huge absolutely beautiful Catholic church. It's quite breathtaking. In the courtyard in front of it, there was loud music and hundreds of people line dancing! It was such an awesome and interesting sight. From young kids to teens, to elderly... all were dancing and laughing and having a great time. I loved it! Brent, you would've loved to see these teenage boys dancing (looked like breakdancing). We love this hotel - it's very comfortable, good breakfast, and the area is ideal. It's really nice to get all of this 1 on 1 time with Ben. We been skyping home and keeping up with the kids and with Mike. Today, we'll get picked up at 2:00 and go play basketball and then at 5:15 we go to a kungfu show. That should be interesting! Tomorrow morning we'll leave for the train station and take the 22 hour overnight train ride to Guangzhou. I'm hoping that the train ride will be interesting and hopefully not too smoky. We'll arrive on Sunday and get picked up at the train station and taken to The Garden Hotel. Then, the next day we get Braxton! Here are some pictures... enjoy! (1st pic is the sunrise as we're leaving Charlotte & the next sky pictures are of the sun rising as we're entering the other side of the world - so cool)
